MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD
The minimum rental period for all holiday homes is 4 nights, except during the Christmas and New Year periods and July School Holidays, where a minimum of 7 nights may be required.
DEPOSIT
A deposit equivalent to 25% of the total tariff is payable at the time of making a booking.
LINEN HIRE
Linen hire is $20.00 per person for the entire stay and includes sheets, towels, bath mats, pillow slips and tea towels. If you do not wish to hire linen then you are welcome to bring your own.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check in time is 3.00pm on the day of arrival.
Check out time is 10.00am on the morning of departure. Failure to checkout by 10.00am may result in an extra night's accommodation being charged.
HOUSEKEEPING SUPPLIES
You will find complimentary, detergent, toilet paper, etc in your property upon arrival. Additional supplies can be purchased from local stores.
LOST KEYS
A charge of $25.00 per key and $100 per garage door remote will be charged for lost items.
DAMAGES/NEGLIGENCE
We accept that breakages and accidents do happen, although damage to the property and/or its' furnishings caused by negligence will result in the cost being on-charged to the guest who made the booking.
CONFIRMATION
Once your deposit has been processed, written confirmation will be forwarded to you by post or email together with further information on the holiday home you have selected.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We are pleased to advise that all deposits are refundable if the booking is cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival although an administration fee of $50 is deducted to cover our costs in making the booking.
PETS
No pets are allowed at any of the holiday homes.
SMOKING
We have a non smoking policy. Please do not smoke inside the properties.
CLEANING
Please help us to maintain our nightly rates by leaving the holiday home in a clean and tidy condition upon departure. Should the home require excessive cleaning over and above what is deemed reasonable, a charge of $33.78 plus GST per hour will be on-charged to the guest who made the booking.
We also offer a professional cleaning service and you can pay to have the house cleaned after your stay.
TELEPHONE
Most of the holiday homes do not have telephones installed. Guests can arrange for the telephone to be connected at their expense.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT
The balance of your account is to be paid on the day of arrival when the keys are picked up. We accept cash, eftpos or credit card only (Visa or Mastercard).
RIGHT OF RELOCATION
If for any unforeseen circumstances, the home that you have booked becomes unavailable, we will arrange alternative comparable accommodation and advise you accordingly.
HOLIDAY HOME STANDARDS
Wanaka Reservations offers the use of private houses and apartments that are all individually owned, therefore all the properties do not have standards or categories attached to them that are internationally recognized.
Each property reflects the personal taste of the owner in respect of architecture and furnishings. Our company provides the opportunity to partake in the culture of the area chosen, living for a few nights or a few weeks in the same surroundings as a local of the area would.
Wanaka Reservations does however inspect all properties on a regular basis to make sure they adhere to an excellent standard.
